DAN WESTERGREN took up photography after being taught how to develop film by an indulgent science teacher in the eighth grade. That early experience instilled in him a reverence for the classic, timeless feel of a wonderful photograph, a reverence that he continues to feel even with his job as Director of Photography for National Geographic Travel. In addition to photo editing for National Geographic Traveler magazine andNatgeo.com/travel he has photographed a variety of stories, including expeditions up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn in the European Alps. Westergren also went on and photographed an expedition to ski the last degree to the North Pole. Over the years, he's shot some of the world's most intriguing people, places and experiences.

Es gibt schon coole Plätze auf der WeltEin tolles Buch für Wartezimmer oder Coffeetables.Ich habe das Buch auf der Gästetoilette... es ist erstaunlich wie viele Menschen sich dort Bücher ansehen
Ganz tolles Buch, ist als Geschenk gedacht und noch liegt es bei mir zu Hause. Muss mich sehr zusammen reißen nicht allzuviele Seiten anzufassen, denn einmal aufgeschlagen reißt es einen in den Bann. Ganz tolle Fotos und destinations!
Nachdem wir dieses Buch als Geschenk gekauft hatten, haben wir es nun nochmals für uns bestellt. Es lädt regelmäßig zum Blättern ein und weckt jedes Mal große Reiselust. Als Inspiration oder einfach um sich schöne Bilder aus tollen Ländern anschauen, ist dieses Buch eine Bestellung wert.
Ein wunderschöner Bildband mit herrlichen englischen Beschreibungen herausragender Reisedestinationen. Dieses Buch habe ich als Geschenk erworben und damit große Begeisterung ausgelöst.
Dieser Bildband macht Lust auf Reisen. Wie gewohnt von National Geographic gibt es tolle Bilder, spannende und mitreißende Beschreibungen. Ich kann das Buch nur empfehlen.
